This is a question that I've been thinking about for a long long time now. And I still don't have a good answer. There are a few issues that I know of when we don't store a basic version of the content in the database as actual HTML. Plugins like Yoast or others that try to do an analysis of the content like an accessibility preflight don't work because the text is not actually there. One thing I don't actually have the answer for but would love to figure out is how it impacts the site search. Does content that is stored in HTML comments get included in search? Or is our entire content non-searchable? I would love to see someone do a deepdve on this :) |

in dynamic blocks, we use null in the save method, not sure if we need to add basic content as a fallback for this. what do you think?
Thanks.
