Legacy Checks / A13+ checks toggle grayed out on A15

The toggle slider for the 2 is grayed out, permanently disabled. However, I am on Android 15 (OxygenOS 15 on OnePlus 12R). Is this intentional? It seems to suggest that it's only performing legacy checks, despite me being on a new enough version to where the newer ones should be supported. Perhaps some info could be added explaining it, if this is intentional, but just counterintuitive? Thanks!

Already talked about this multiple times on XDA and Telegram groups. Google doesn't return the new results on some devices and I have no idea why..

Looks like it depend on the keybox used.

With aosp keybox, option is greyed out, with an unrevoked keybox, toggle is available

But I have stock rom (OOS) and it is still grayed out for me.. Haven't messed with the keybox
