Hey, Firstly thanks for the great library! I am using it in an application which sometimes interacts with USB devices and as such I have a receiver defined for the For quite some time we've had reports of our devices showing a "Xibo has stopped" dialog immediately on boot, and finally managed to track it down to the above receiver.
Because the app process is being created by the receiver, ACRA init is being called, which is loading SharedPreferences - but the encrypted storage isn't unlocked yet. My question is whether there is a way to completely disable the reading of shared preferences - accepting that we would not get them in our reports. (I think no, as they are always loaded in init) Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, |

Hi @dasgarner, there was an attempt to add direct boot support to ACRA, but the author went unresponsive so it never got merged. You could pick it up: #889 |
