Hello! 👋

I just set up my dashboard with this fantastic integration!
But i'd really love to have the ability to add a custom background to it.

Most awesome would be the ability to add specific backgrounds to each view, but one for all would also be fine.

Is this possible to add in the future?

Hi.

Thank you for your interest.
Your asking to support the background configuration variable?

Hey,

yes i think so. I just started my whole home assistant journey so i didn't even know about that. Can i set a background via that and make they mushroom strategy use that?

Unfortunately No...
The strategy generates views dynamically, based on the configuration in yaml.
Currently the background configuration isn't supported.

Keep the issue open, so we'll notice it during development of new features.

i managed to set a background for the whole dashboard now so that's atleast a start!

Hey @RandomLegend can you explain how you managed to have a background into a mushroom-strategy generated dashboard? thanks!

I didn't do it inside the dashboard itself but i simply created my own "theme" where i just copy&pasted the default theme but added a background there.
