Geometry Controls Drawing Tool is Defective in IE 8.0.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to the link:
http://gmaps-utility-library-dev.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geometrycontrols/examp
les/test.html
2. click on a button of the drawing toobar and start plotting on the map

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the plots are not positioned where you clicked on the map but are shifted
to the right bottom about 500 pixels away. Plots should be created where
you clicked on the map.
