print PNG issue with MarkerCluster

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Internet Explorer 8
2. 
http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/e
xamples/simple_example.html
3. print (preview is not enough, go on and print)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see on paper exactly what I see on screen. Instead, I found PNG 
issue: icons have a gray background instead transparency.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Trunk samples, IE8 8.0.7600.16385 (32bit) over Windows 7 (64bit).
