Would it be possible to make the uninstall procedure independent of the X display? I'm trying to salvage my laptop without a full reinstall, but this script didn’t work for me.
When running it from the rescue terminal with the --uninstall option, it fails due to a missing display, as the X window system is unavailable after installation. I also noticed that new kernels were installed. At this point, the only thing that seems to be working is the terminal.
