Hi! I liked your article, thanks for writing it.

I'm no lawyer, but I have a sneaky suspicion that given that you've licensed the actual text of the autoresponse under the MIT license, one of whose conditions is:

The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.

that someone who uses the words you wrote may technically need to include the text of the MIT license in their emails.

This may be intentional, but just in case it isn't, figured I'd point it out.

Since this is just text wouldn’t something like Creative Commons be more appropriate than MIT licensing?

I think so, yes, and there are variations that don't require attribution.
