RCurl Issue getURL

Getting certain URLs results in the function hanging, i.e. it starts looping between two or three hosts.
E.g. The resulting URL from following this Indeed URL:
/rc/clk?jk=4fff0586a82ba4b6&fccid=e3faf34888787b1e
The present solution is a timeout, but finding a way to parse the page would be more desirable.
