right now the way it's determined whether or not to scan a file for bad content is bad, it should take in a comprehensive list of files and file extensions:

files/folders:

.gitignore
Gemfile
Gemfile.lock
Cargo.toml
literally all of node_modules/, someone's gonna have that in their repo
...

ext:

.jpeg
.gif
.png
