Biosecurity alerts have a requirement for CSV files to be generated for tracking records sent in emails. These CSV files need to be stored in S3 as the preferred storage mechanism for ALA apps.

The following changes are needed for the prod AWS account:

  • Create S3 bucket - ala-alerts-biosecurity
  • Allow the test and prod servers to have RW access to this bucket - aws-alerts-test-2022.ala & aws-alerts-prod-2022.ala
  • Provide RW access to the bucket to the appropriate AssumeRoleAccess role
  • Optionally, additional changes for K8s deployment
