Open DELTa Beta not opening on Mac OSX 13.6

I downloaded the latest Beta dmg file and installed it, allowed Mac to open it but it closes immediately again. Both intkey end editor are affected. Have latest Java installed, older versions are blocked by Apple.

How did you manage to get the program to open and then close? I just get nothing at all and while running on terminal I have

-> Open DELTA open Delta\ Editor.app
LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Applications/Open DELTA/Delta Editor.app.

I actually found a weird workaround that I could reproduce on a second computer. First install from dmg file and allow to open non-Applestore files (won't really open though). I have my Macs set to open anywhere with a terminal command but it should work by clicking on open in the security preferences. Then open terminal and enter this command /Applications/Open Delta/Delta Editor.app/Contents/MacOS/DeltaEditor.sh which I found in the wiki under installation instructions. After that, reinstall 1.0.3 and it opens normal, no more terminal needed. I'm on HighSierra and this worked on two computers, no idea why or if it will work for others.

Okey this is so so interesting.. I could manage to get it working!... first of all I deleted the newer up to date oracle java version (the one I first installed and thought that would work silly of me on this old program) and I managed to install "legacy java" from apple https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?locale=en_US following this script https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/375973/java-uninstalled-but-still-cannot-install-java-6-macos

and then what I did, from the directory /Applications/Open\ DELTA a or ~/Applications/Open\ DELTA (which for some reason apple has different applications directories one for all users and one for each home usr.. I had open delta installed in bot.. I tried just in mine (the second one)and it worked) I followed your instruction executing the following command Delta\ Editor.app/Contents/MacOS/DeltaEditor.sh which in my case and for now it opens the editor
Then I tried inIntkey.app/Contents/MacOS/Intkey.sh and opens the keys applications that was the requirement for my Zoology class and for now it seems it's working without further issues.
