Ship munitions (flak, rotary bullets, blaster ammo) appear to be dealing the minimal possible damage when they contact another ship's hull. Both ships managed to hit each other probably a dozen times each (the SFA spending all their ammo to do so), but neither actually managed to breach the other (pictured breaches were pre-existing). Almost all damage amounted to bullet decals and slight weakening of the walls.
No idea how the Longbow factors into this since neither ship has one.
