As a Technical Consultant, I want to have access to up-to-date workshop materials and presentation templates for Azure Landing Zone accelerators so that I can effectively guide customers through the decision-making process and help them create well-structured landing zones.

To address this need, here are some key points to consider:

Create a comprehensive PowerPoint deck that covers:

  • Introduction to Azure Landing Zones
  • Key design principles and considerations
  • Decision-making framework for each design area
  • Best practices and common pitfalls
  • Case studies and real-world examples
  • Develop interactive exercises and worksheets to help customers:

Assess their current environment.

  • Define their requirements
  • Make informed decisions about their landing zone architecture
  • Integration with Existing Resources
  • Link the workshop materials to the Azure Landing Zone Review assessment2.

This will help customers:

  • Understand how the assessment results relate to their landing zone design

  • Identify areas for improvement and investment

  • Provide guidance on how to use the workshop outcomes as inputs for the Azure Landing Zone accelerators5. This could include:

  • Mapping workshop decisions to accelerator parameters

  • Explaining how to customize accelerator templates based on workshop outcomes

Distribution and Maintenance

Consider hosting the materials on GitHub alongside the existing Azure Landing Zone accelerator resources5.

This would:

  • Make the materials easily accessible to partners and consultants
  • Allow for community contributions and updates
  • Ensure version control and change tracking

Alternatively, make the resources available through Microsoft partner channels to:

Control access and maintain quality
Provide a centralized location for partners to access the latest materials

Establish a regular review and update process to keep the materials current with the following:
Latest Azure features and services
Evolving best practices and recommendations
Customer feedback and common questions
Additional Resources

Create a "Quick Start Guide" for consultants, explaining how to:

Use the workshop materials effectively
Customize the content for different customer scenarios
Facilitate discussions and decision-making sessions

Develop a set of follow-up materials to help customers:

  • Implement their landing zone design
  • Monitor and optimize their environment post-implementation
  • Plan for future growth and expansion

By providing these comprehensive workshop materials and integrating them with existing Azure Landing Zone resources, Technical Consultants will be better equipped to guide customers through the complex decision-making process required for a well-structured landing zone.

This will lead to more successful implementations and improved customer satisfaction, which will be aligned with Microsoft's best practices, and allow people to get going quicker.
