Minor version 3.46.0 introduces a breaking change

We are continuously addressing and improving the SDK, if possible, make sure the problem persist in the latest SDK version.

Describe the bug
Upgrading to 3.46.0 breaks builds due to the dependency changes in #4839

To Reproduce
Upgrade to a version >= 3.46.0 without performing the steps in the changelog.

Expected behavior
Per the changelog, this project conforms to Semantic Versioning. Therefore, a minor or patch version change should not introduce breaking changes.

Actual behavior
Installing this minor version update does introduce a breaking change.

Additional context
Either the project conforms to SemVer, or it doesn't. I think it should, and this dependency change should have triggered a major version bump to 4.0.0.
