When adding content to a collection, the user should be asked to confirm the following:

I believe that my intended use of this media in this collection...

  • ...qualifies as Fair Use. (Consider the PURPOSE of sharing the work, the NATURE of the copyrighted work, the AMOUNT of the copyrighted work to be used, and the EFFECT on the market.)

If students can access the policy.byu.edu link, then also add the link in a prominent place on the main page.
