Tooltips for parameters are insufficiently explanatory

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Enter the exploration editor and look at the information tooltips for 
parameters, both in the main tab right column and on the settings tab.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A message explains when the parameters are applied. It would good if they could 
also explain what parameters are, or provide a link to the parameter 
documentation.
