<h3>LPU achieved record-breaking placement in 2022</h3>

<p>Continuing its legacy of unbeatable placement records,
Lovely Professional University (LPU) celebrated its annual event
‘Placement Day-2022’ at the campus. Thousands of the placed students as
well as their proud parents, mentors and teachers participated in the
celebrations.Setting yet another benchmark; 8400+ offers were extended to
students of various programs of the 2022 batch.For the 2022 batch,
the highest package for engineering stood at 62.72 lakhs the highest
salary package secured by students from the current batch, yet to graduate
in the summer of 2023, is Rs 54.75 Lacs; and, the highest monthly internship
stipend offered is Rs 1.6 Lac now. The recruiter Amazon has also hired LPU
students at the package of INR 46.4 Lakh. Earlier, Google also selected an LPU student
at INR 48 Lakh. 455 students have been placed in packages between 10 Lacs
to 62.72 Lacs from class of 2022, 2021; where, 18 students are placed at
CTC Rs 40 Lacs or above; and, 32 students have been placed at CTC Rs 30-40 Lacs
from the class of 2021 and 2022. Such commendable stories indicate how LPU has
emerged as a top institute in India, where coveted placement records
are becoming a normal norm.</p><br><br>
<h3>LPU students awarded ‘The Most Innovative Idea’ in Study Australia Entrepreneurship Challenge </h3>

<p>Once again, LPU is proved to be a hub of innovation.
LPU students’ team ‘Urban Settlers’ were awarded AUS $5000
work scholarship and declared ‘Most Innovative Idea’ at ‘Study
Australia Entrepreneurship Challenge’. LPU engineering students
Ayush Singh, Deepak Gill, Mohit, Abhishek Singh and Anuj Kumar,
members of the team ‘Urban Settlers’, have proved their mettle
in a competition which saw a participation of 36 different teams
across India.Their venture named RoomsVital has a vision to provide s
ustainable and affordable housing solutions focusing on smart locks.
They pitched their idea to experts from SAEC, Indian Industry. The
competition was organized by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission
where biggest universities from all over India participated. The Study
Australia Entrepreneurship Challenge was an initiative to engage highly-skilled
students from the Indian higher education institutes who participated in a
series of hybrid events, which were based on Ted X-meets-Hackathon.</p><br><br>
<h3>LPU hosted 11th annual celebrations of Antara Dance & Creative Art Studio</h3>

<p>Providing the largest platform to the growing and hitherto h
idden Indian and international talent, Lovely Professional University
(LPU) hosted 11th annual recital revels of Antara Dance Studio (Jalandhar)
at its Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium. More than 100 students of the studio
from different walks of life and age groups performed on beautiful choreographies
and compositions. Commencing the annual show ‘Dream Catchers-2022′, titled
as ‘Wings of Joy’; the first group performance echoed liberty for dancing
on the song “Udne Do”. It was followed by online and offline Kathak performances
worshipping Lords Rama & Krishna; Guru Vandana; Thumri dance depicting ‘Asht Naayika’
for pangs of love by Director Nidhi Mittal, herself; and, many other dance forms. LPU’s
Pro Chancellor Ms. Rashmi Mittal chaired the occasion. She encouraged the participants
with her support </p><br><br>
<h3>LPU BOXER CLINCHES BRONZE AT YOUTH WOMEN’S WORLD BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS</h3>

<p>Students at LPU have consistently been an inspiration to their country.
Tamanna, a student at LPU and a professional boxer, recently won Bronze medal
in the 50-kilogram division at the IBA Youth Women’s World Boxing Championships, which were held
in Spain. “I have practiced a lot for the last few months and this is getting me results. I would
like to thank my coach, my family and support staff for always standing by my side,” says Tamanna.
The 25-person Indian team brought home 11 medals overall, including four gold, three silver,
and four bronze. This year’s championships saw participation of close to
600 boxers from 73 countries.

<h3>LPU Verto received the Indian Achievers Award</h3>

<p>The Indian Achievers Award is a well-known and distinguished award given
to those who have achieved enormous success in their respective industries
and are capable of pushing the boundaries.Pankaj G, a student of B. Tech.
ECE and CEO of Renovation Tech Robotics and Aeromodelling, was given the
Indian Achievers Award for his outstanding professional achievement and contribution
towards nation building! Lovely Professional University (LPU) is supportive of its students’
ambitions because it has faith in their Vertos and provides them with the resources they require.
Pankaj is a National Level winner at India Skills 2022 competition. We at LPU want to see our Vertos
excelling in their respective fields so that they could win this prestigious award.

<h3>LPU scientist’s ‘Plasmas-Laser’ research acknowledged by world’s scientists in Italy </h3>

<p>One of the scientists at Lovely Professional University, Prof Dr Jyoti Rajput,
from the Physics department, was lately invited to present her significant scientific research for
“Plasmas in Super-Intense Laser Fields”, at Erice (Sicily) in Italy. Her research is going
to be highly beneficial in the varied sophisticated activities involved in the domains of surgery,
space and more. Occasion was the 9th edition of the summer school ‘Plasmas in Super-Intense Laser
Fields’ in Erice, Sicily, Italy. It was organized jointly by the Department of Energy of the
Polytechnic of Milan, (Politecnico di Milano – Dipartimento di Energia), Italy; and, the University
of Bordeaux, France.
Dr. Kailash Juglan congratulated the hardworking researcher at the university and encouraged
her to continue with more of such illustrious research works.</p><br><br>
