DeNT mini app build and run instructions on Ascent, used during OLCF Hackathon at Oak Ridge National Lab 10/11 - 10/27 2021
Run ./install.sh from the DeNTminiapp directory to build a directory of third party libraries
Builds: glvis-3.4 serial, mfem-4.2 parallel cuda
Change the output directory to a scratch directory as needed in miniapp.cpp by changing the directory in lines 284-290
Run ./compile.sh to compile miniapp.cpp for cuda use, or compile-serial.sh for serial cpu use.
Submit on Summit using bsub run-cuda.lsf or bsub run-amgx-profile.lsf for use with NVIDIA profiling tools
Visualize results by running the following from the DeNTminiapp directory:
../tpls/glvis-3.4/glvis -m <meshfile.mesh> -g <path/to/outputfile>
Example:
../tpls/glvis-3.4/glvis -m 1_10x1_10.mesh -g /gpfs/wolf/gen167/scratch/clemency/output/1/sf.gf
