I was just trying to make a basic example with some of my own imagery using the... How to create a Time Machine viewing directory from a directory of tiles google doc you have listed.
I'd would appreciate more clarification on what exactly has to be in the folder of tiles. The examples I could find linked to directories that are not public like: https://earthengine.google.com/timelapse/data/20161025/
I tried with a mp4 video of my imagery time series and also separate .pngs at each timestep, but did not have success with either.

Just to make sure because "a mp4 video" sounds different: You do have imagery that is already processed into smaller tiles, correct?
I won't know the answer if so but I would be interested in it myself :)
