I do not see the PhotoShop startup screen.

Hello, I have a problem with the PhotoShop program when I install it, it does not give the start screen or to create a new document, what I can do is edit a photo and export, any solution?

Same issue here on Arch Linux. Can open files but all is grayed in the file menu upon start

Upd: kinda partially solved by changing these two settings as mentioned here. Allows to create new docs.

I had the same issue on Mint 22 Cinnamon, but the legacy New Document fixed it for me!
Also exporting layers to file trick should work to create the .PSD then you can reopen the PSD and it saves as usual
