Facebook acquired and eventually shut down an activity tracking app called Moves:

We can also represent a tour in a graph:

This is an example of an ideal one-day tour. The user leaves home (1), goes to work (2)--(7), and returns home at the end of the day (8). The graph further can be a directed graph.
