TheWeeklyChallenge Code of Conduct

This TheWeeklyChallenge is a fun and welcoming space for developers of all skill levels to explore Perl and Raku. We provide weekly challenges to encourage learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Whether you're an expert or a curious beginner, you'll find challenges to suit your skillset. We believe in fostering a supportive community where everyone can learn from each other. Feel free to ask questions, share your progress, and help fellow challengers on their coding journey.

To ensure a positive and respectful environment, we have established this Code of Conduct that applies to all project participants, including maintainers, contributors, and users. By participating in this project, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

Our Pledge

In the TheWeeklyChallenge community, we are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. We pledge to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.

  • Use inclusive language and avoid any forms of offensive, discriminatory, or derogatory remarks.
  • Be open to constructive feedback and discussions, and respond in a courteous manner.
  • Exercise empathy and understanding towards fellow contributors and users.
  • Be accountable for your actions and words, taking responsibility for their impact on the community.
  • Respect the boundaries and personal space of others.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the TheWeeklyChallenge community:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive conduct based on protected characteristics.
  • Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory comments towards individuals or groups.
  • Trolling, flaming, or any other disruptive behavior that hinders productive discussions.

  • Engaging in any behavior that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers. All reports will be treated confidentially, and the maintainers will review and investigate the reported incidents. In cases where a violation is confirmed, appropriate and fair actions will be taken, which may include warnings, temporary or permanent bans from project-related activities, or other actions deemed necessary.
