When using mouse input in steam os under chimera, the mouse cursor uses the desktop cursor instead of the "Holo" cursor.

Besides theme/branding, the holo cursor is much larger and easier to see at higher resolution and distance. The Holo cursor does pop up on first install, but disappears after updates.
