This is for the (currently) latest version 1.0.0-alpha.5 version

Most keyboard shortcuts (such as open pane, jump to file, etc) don't work when cursor is focused on a file edit window (they seem to provide some other functionality such as selecting block between braces). They do work fine when unfocusing the edit window, such as clicking on the left file panel
