This core includes code with multiple different licenses:

  • The Arduino Core APIs / header files: LGPL with linking exception, see e.g. here
  • GigaDevice Firmware Library files: BSD 3-Clause, see e.g. system/GD32F30x_firmware
  • CMSIS code written by ARM: BSD 3-Clause, see e.g. system/CMSIS
  • Minor code / headers derived from mbed-os files: Apache 2.0, see files here
  • Code written by the contributors of this repository starting from now: BSD 3-Clause
