Game crash when shaft placed #5938
Comments
please crash your game by holding F3+C for 10s and attach the crash report |
it freezes right after block is placed |
dont place the block |
why do i even play then |
dont place the block so you can get the crash report i asked for |
|
you said you were on patch c but in the crash log i see patch f. so what gives? |
good point, so, in order to stay relevant, i downgraded to version in question (c), tried to open a new world and game just crashed with the following crash report |
it says you are out of ram |
so i tried allocating it 8256mb but it did nothing fancy. crash report if you wanna see it |
and now place your block in that world. |
so, again memory issue, and i am not to believe mod started demanding 12gb, escpecially if to consider it ran fine before. Could also be disk problem |
its not the mod. its other processes hogging your actual ram. i suggest rebooting your pc to get rid of all stray processes that might be hoarding ram. |
you dont need more that 6GB. less for just this test |
rebooting did not help, it still crashes without any crash report. |
cannot reproduce, likely not create |
The only thing that helped me was switching to Linux mint, just wanted to say |
