BOMability

A characteristic that indicates whether a valid Bill-of-Materials document can be generated for the given package or software by another tool or system. This is similar to "Testability".

If there is software or an application that exists for which no tool can generate a BOM, then either the tools need to be enhanced or the software needs to be fixed.
