Servicemix won't start without elastic search running when elastic search bundle installed?

Is there some sort of code we need to add to tolerate elastic search not being available? It seems like indexes may be occasionally up or down and is there a way to make the system tolerate this?

Only on Centos We have this problem. I guess we can let the indexer sleep for a few seconds and retry until it is reconnected.
