Further suggested addition inspired by the AEA "If you have applied for a postal vote, it will be sent after this date." |
We have the Postal vote application deadline in our timetable, but not that date. Do you know how to work it out? |
No, I think it depends on the local authority. The week following I would assume. I will ask the AEA, though. |
postal vote packs are usually sent around ten days before polling day |
OK. "usually around 10 days before polling day, but it depends on your council" feels more like a bit of text than something to go into the timetable rules. |
AEA says: "Based on a very limited survey – most PVs for the UKPGE went out around 18-19 June. Nominations closed on 7 June so it took a while." |
We only name the SoPN publishing date if we have candidates attached to an election. If we have no candidates, we say:
We don't know of any candidates standing yet. You can help improve this page: add information about candidates to our database.
With candidates we say:
The official candidate list will be published after 31 March 2025, when this page will be updated.
This latter message should show on all pages.
