latest firmware causes pause at reboot and stops working #11

very weird issue, just noting it here.

After a reboot, my keyboard needs a replug to start working again. It works at boot but somewhere in the boot process it stops.
This is on 2 computers, a thinkpad t480s and an hp desktop.

Also, on the hp desktop, the computer is dual boot with windows. Choosing to boot windows will cause the computer to pause during boot (hp logo displayed) for about 2 minutes. replugging the keyboard works to 'unpause'.

I see this issue as well on Ubuntu 24.04.
