If we trigger a rebuild on an instance, the previous comment describing the previous build should be marked as hidden and collapsed to prevent noise.

An intermediate step could be to make the bot instances more quiet.

One could also have an option for the bot commands such that they are silent or verbose.

Condense first reply by bot instance(s). For example, see EESSI/software-layer#448 (comment)

Bot could hide previous comments for new jobs:

  • if same architecture
  • if failed
  • if successful ones shall be hidden the upload policy needs to be taken into account
  • both job manager and event handler need to implement this
