Inbound Transport is not working on newer Versions (ByteBuffer Flip&Clear) - at least 10.8.x #14

The ByteBuffer flip & clear was not working anymore and stopped the transport from doing its job.

Casting the whole thing to buffer helped to solve the problem:

((java.nio.Buffer) bb).flip();
((java.nio.Buffer) bb).clear();

Is this "the best solution" or any other advice @eironside ? If the solution is good it would be nice to fix it also here in the repo.
