The recorder backlog queue reached the maximum size

Hi, this blueprint seems to flood the HA recorder with events, which causes the recorder to turn off:
The recorder backlog queue reached the maximum size of 167387 events.

The controlled entity here is a zigbee2mqtt dimmable lamp.

Is there a way to limit the triggering period of this automation easily?

Same problem here. Had to disable the automation altogether as it was breaking my HA.
