Hi
I want to record an internal source, for example, an audio track or Spotify track and simultaneously record a voice over using my Apogee Hyper V Mic. I have been able to do this before using a Steinburg Audio interface and XLR Mic. However, I recently purchased the Hyper V USB Mic.
I have my MULT/IO set up and working for my internal audio, for testing purposes I am recording using QuickTime. Interface in Quicktime is set to BlackHole 2Ch, output in Audio settings is MULTI /IO device and input is BlackHole 2Ch. I have added my Hyper V Mic to the Multi IO Devices. The limiter lights on the MIC suggest it's receiving sound but it's not getting any further. Quicktime isn't picking up any audio from the MIC. The Hyper V MIC has an LED status that turns Blue when it detects it is connected to recording software, that isn't Blue at the moment. Any ideas ?
