This is the offseason release for 2021/2022.

Breaking Changes

  • For users that build using Android Studio this release requires Android Studio Chipmunk 2021.2.1
  • v7.1 and below Driver Stations are not compatible with v7.2 Robot Controllers and vice-versa.
  • Removes support for devices that are not competition legal, including Modern Robotics Core Control Modules, the Matrix Controller, and HiTechnic/NXT controllers and sensors. Support remains for Modern Robotics I2C sensors.

Update: v7.0.1 of the Driver Station APK is a special release specifically for Moto G series phones that are stuck on Android 6.0. For more details see issue #172. Teams not on these phones, or teams whose Moto G phones have updated to Android 6.0.1 should use the original v7.0 APK that was packaged with this release.
