Description

Having not only metrics from JMeter but also from APM would help us to understand how the application behaves generally (including real user requests).

Once we have the integration with APM we could go further and also have a general dashboard with application performance and requests count we've made.

Solution

NewRelic integration is something that should be added in Maestro once and could be reused from test to test. We consider that tests can be configured by different teams with different levels of access. Generally, it doesn't mean that we should have Integration per test to simplify that step.

Once we have integration added to Maestro, we could add one more option during test configuration where we could set up a list of transactions that should be monitored.

Eventually, we could add more dashboards to maestro to have a quick overview of test execution including data from APM.
