[BUG] Comment gutter takes up space in views where it shouldn't

Description: ADD A SHORT DESCRIPTION HERE
When typing text into the Canvas node, it flows vertically while node is in focus. When focus goes off that node, it displays horizontally as it should. Same thing happening in Kanbans.
