We encountered a case where child assets had a different owner than their parent asset.

Not sure about the consequences yet, but if you need to remedy this situation, one way is to bring all child assets under the same owner, by running:

flexmeasures edit transfer-ownership --asset <ID of the parent asset> --new-owner <account ID of the parent's owner>
