Hello y'all !
I just downloaded Fossify's Contact app over F-Droid an installed it on an Android 14 XiaoMi smartphone.
I want to import the content of my laptop's Mozilla Thunderbird (TB) address book previously exported as a v4.0 vCard file in the Fossify Contact App
Just in case it may be relevant, my TB address book contains over 4000 cards among them many written in Chinese and in Japanese.

The import process stopped at record 372 of the vCard file. over 5 trials. This was very consistent.
The only message I got (every time) was a short lived (on display pop-up) message:
"JavaLang: NullPointer Exception: getPartialDate()..." Followed by "Importing some items failed" .

¿ Can somebody advise as to how I can troubleshoot this issue ? Any help would be very appreciated.
