OpenVPN status not recognized

Hi,

after upgrade to origin/master yesterday (I came from 7.27) OpenVPN is not recognized as active anymore:

root@ipv4-gw:/var/mod/root# /etc/init.d/rc.openvpn status
stopped
root@ipv4-gw:/var/mod/root#

OpenVPN is (here) running at UDP 51194:

root@ipv4-gw:/var/mod/root# netstat -anp | grep 51194
udp        0      0 :::51194                :::*                                3615/multid
root@ipv4-gw:/var/mod/root#

Any way to fix this?

Would it make sense / is it possible to change rc.openvpn to check if OpenVPN is running as it did before?

You want the rc.openvpn to show as "running" while "multid" is running? its senseless

Seems multid does not to start the management interface and I thought it could be fixed via rc.openvpn.

rc.openvpn tries to start OpenVPN (51194) and the management interface (1195). The MI succeeds but then the start of OpenVPN fails as rc.openvpn does not recognise that multid already started OpenVPN. rc.openvpn exits and also shuts down the MI.

This worked before (with inetd I guess).

When youe customized the startup scripts, why do yo ask here? Nobody does know what you changed. inetd is not supported anymore

I didn't but looking at rc.openvpn there is "inetd".
