I like Linux and I like using the command line.

Is there any way to make fs-uae start those little uss saved state files directly from command-line?

Mockup:

fs-uae state1.uss

Found it I guess. It's fs-uae load-state=1.

Updating to feature request:

The ability to name save states and also to load those states by name instead of number.
