Description

Reported by USAGov:

I noticed the interior white stroke is missing from the error message fields. This contrast between the red of the alert and the dark aqua of the focus is 1.64, which I believe is insufficient (and why the white inner stroke is needed here).

Note: can't reproduce with axe scan.

User Story

As a user viewing error states while focused, the contrast ratio between the the two should be sufficient for accessible use

Acceptance Criteria

  • Review field-groups, select, radio, and input to determine contrast ratio compliance

@scottqueen-bixal Agree that adding a white inner stroke to separate the teal focus color from the red-error identification border would resolve the contrast issues.

Confirmed this looks good on Dev.
