Environment

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 based Xfce4 Desktop system
  • Scrcpy version: 2.6.1
  • Installation method: git
  • Device model: Samsung Galaxy A05s
  • Android version: 14

Describe the bug

  • Adroid device is connected to remote Ubuntu based system

  • Access to remote Xfce4 Desktop via DWService.net

  • Start of scrcpy on remote system via scrcpy -K -M -S

  • My cursor gets captured as soon as I click into the scrcpy window

  • BUT I can't move the cursor. The left mouse button seems to work. If the cursor position allows for a tap/click input I can trigger this with the mouse.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: Am also testing the possibility of utilizing a SSH tunnel in combination with a SSH relay.
This would be a great solution for ad-hoc remote support/management without router modification and having to utilize a full blown remote Desktop session.
Am testing:

Access to remote Xfce4 Desktop via DWService.net

Does it work locally, without an additional remote desktop layer?

Sorry, forgot to mention: yes, it does work locally as expected

PS: Even if not directly related to the issue at hand or for that matter scrcpy in general, any take on the mentioned tmate issue would also be highly appreciated.
