After saving and opening text it is shown as red dots.

Hey, I need help. I've been working on my text for like and half an hour I saved it onto my Chromebook and now when I want to open it, there are only red dots. Is there any chance to recover the file? When I try to open it on another device it shows as blank. I would love to know If I can do anything.

I have the same problem. I need to recover the file because it contains hours of work.

. for several weeks now including today, 2023.10.9,
the text app is sometimes leaving red dots at the end of a .txt file
possibly indicating that a previous append was turned to garbage.

. I've been converting important files to gdocs.
. I still like to use txt.app for transcribing notes
because it doesn't have auto-correct like gdocs
so I know what I type is what I get
even when I'm staring at notes instead of what I typed.
