These are some of the strange side effects of the No Mouse Acceleration patch we chose to use.
Newer versions of Chimera than the one included with SPV3 have a better implementation with none of these issues, but those versions of Chimera have been noted to have other compatibility issues with OpenSauce, the engine extension that allows most of SPV3's cool features to work.
