1 organization:

  • stable board like group of people that hold the community together and "have a clue"
  • stable group of admins having an eye on the infrastructure of the wikis so that everything keeps running
-> approx. 5 people per group (because of bus factor); could be overlapping
-> clearly define & communicate who has which privileges (e.g. access to certain resources)
  • well defined way to contact each of the groups
  • well defined chat rooms and means of communication for all community members
  • well defined chat rooms for sub groups such as developers, people organizing meetups, ...
=> lasting organization with low entry barriers for newcomers

2 IT infrastructure:

  • unify the wikis where possible/ necessary (easier to maintain)
  • plan how to reliably set up the sites (talking to you @Nomadwiki)
  • making infrastructure & code more visible while only keeping secret what must be kept secret
  • encourage people to contribute to it
  • reliable billing for infrastructure

3 putting everything together:

  • having decided on the previous points we can think about whether we need some legal entity to achieve them & discuss the current legal status of the sites
