Se puede utilizar código que no es propio, pero siguiendo las siguientes reglas:

Debe ser citado indicando el link de donde fue extraído.
Los comentarios del código deben ser propios.
Deben describir brevemente por qué el código referenciado les sirve en la tarea.
No se deben utilizar ni citar códigos que entreguen una solución estructural a un problema de una evaluación.

Esto para evitar simple "copy paste" sin realmente entender lo que hace un código externo, como dijo Steve Merrit (programador en Google)

The more pieces of your program you don’t understand, the less likely you are to end up with the right solution.
