Describe the solution you'd like
On "thumbstick click" open the link under the cursor in a new tab.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Current solution is

Pull and hold trigger
Menu pops up
Select "Open in New Tab" from menu

Additional context
This would operate similar to the "middle mouse button click" for desktop Firefox/Chrome.
