Development

  1. Install Node.js.

  2. Clone and install dependencies.

    git clone https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/insightsoftwareconsortium.org
    cd insightsoftwareconsortium.org
    npm ci

If you encounter the error:

Error: ENOSPC: System limit for number of file watchers reached,

Run:

echo fs.inotify.max_user_watches=524288 | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.conf && sudo sysctl -p
  1. Start developing.

    npm run develop
  2. Open the source code and start editing!

    Your site is now running at http://localhost:8000!

    Note: You'll also see a second link: http://localhost:8000/___graphql. This is a tool you can use to experiment with querying your data. Learn more about using this tool in the Gatsby tutorial.

    Open the <project-name> directory in your code editor of choice and edit src/pages/index.js. Save your changes and the browser will update in real time!
